This week in college football

This week was another dramatic week with upsets, to the BCS standings. Let’s start off with the upsets. First off, the punishing loss of Ohio State, the Buckeyes lost a heart breaker to the Wisconsin Badgers 31 to 18. The Buckeyes were down 21 to 3 at half and I thought that they were done, but they managed to come back in the 4th quarter to make it 21 to 18 with 11:38 left to go in the game, but the Badgers didn't give up just yet. A touchdown the next drive gave them a 28 to 18 lead with 6:57 to go and after that it seemed like the Buckeyes gave up with a 3 and out the next drive, which lead to a Badgers field goal to make it 31 to 18, then after the field goal, it all went downhill from there. The Buckeyes dropped from the number 1 spot to 10 in the BCS. Another big upset was the Nebraska and Texas. Texas has not had the year like they wanted starting off 3-2 for the season before the game against Nebraska. Nebraska was ranked 5th in the BCS but they lost to Texas 20 to 13. The other upsets, not as big as these games, was Kentucky over South Carolina, if you remember, South Carolina beat Alabama last week to drop Bama from the top spot in the BCS to 8th, South Carolina lost 31 to 28. The other upset was Hawaii over Nevada 27 to 21 and Washington over Oregon State 35 to 34. Now the BCS standings. I do not like how the BCS put the standings this week with Oklahoma being number 1, because I think that either Oregon or Boise State or maybe even TCU should be at the top spot in the standings because they have played a lot better ball than Oklahoma. If you remember back in like week 3 or 4, they almost lost against Air Force, which Air Force lost against San Diego State this week. Oklahoma does not deserve to be at the top of the standings.
